Sample Lending Every shop owner knows that having a physical sample helps to sell patterns, but who has the time? I can help with my Sample Lending Program.
- Each sample quilt is in fabrics similar to the one featured on the pattern
cover. (Some patterns may have additional samples available in different fabrics as well.) Each one is carefully pieced and professionally quilted and bound, ready to hang with identifying tags attached. Patterns that have more than one cover quilt may have one of each style available.
- You will have the Sample for approximately 2 to 3 weeks.
- You must purchase a minimum of 12 copies of the pattern and an additional
amount (usually 12 more) will be included on consignment (negotiable). If it is your first order, prepayment of the 12 purchased copies is due before the sample is shipped to you. After your first order, qualifying shops can use the standard Net 30 payment schedule.
- You will be responsible for all shipping charges (both ways).
- A letter of agreement will be sent to you and will need to be signed and
returned before any Sample is sent to you. It will describe the quilt(s) involved, shipping instructions, insured value, arrival/return dates, minimum number of patterns to be purchased and consigned, when consigned sale money is due, and a clause regarding lost, stolen, or damaged items.
- A $50 deposit is required for each quilt sample. It will be refunded to you
when the sample is returned to me.
- Available to USA shops only.
- All Sample dates are available on a first-come basis. I won't re-schedule your
time slot just to serve someone else.
